Dog supplies that passers-by are more pleased with than dog breeders, and even more so the dogs themselves
As for dogs, of all pet supplies, they are 100% fond of only toys and food. Well, even beds and clothes, if the coat is short, and the winter is cold. For the most part, they just have to put up with other accessories. In turn, some of these products are reluctantly used by dog owners. But passers-by on the street are usually happy with these things.
Muzzle Many people are afraid of strange dogs. And the fact that the dog does not bite, only its owner knows. The muzzle ensures that the dog will not be able to bite a passer-by on the edge of the coat, if he suddenly wants to. The dog does not like this accessory because it: It makes it a little difficult to smell. Just a little, but still; It interferes with picking up something from the ground (it’s impossible, but sometimes the dog really wants to); It makes it difficult to pick up a toy, a stick and other interesting objects in your teeth, to carry your own leash (many dogs love this very much); A good muzzle does not hinder breathing, but opening the mouth in it is still not as convenient as without it; And in general, wearing something on the face is not very pleasant, it is much better not to wear anything. And yet, the dog usually quickly gets used to a comfortable, suitable muzzle. It’s only bad when the owner uses a bearish one to walk out of ignorance And the owner, of course, wants the dog to be as comfortable as possible on a walk. Therefore, some people do not put a muzzle on their pet, even in crowded places. There are those who like it when passers-by in horror shy away from a hefty dog without a muzzle. Fortunately, there are few such. In general, people do not muzzle a dog for reasons of maximum comfort for it, and also because of worries about its safety: homeless people can rush at a domestic dog on the street, and in a muzzle it will not be able to fight back. Leash Just like a muzzle, a leash ensures that the dog cannot run up close to passers-by to sniff or taste them. People around are calmer to see a dog on a leash than without it, even if it is the kindest dog in the world. In addition, she will not rush for a bicycle, she will not be able to jump out onto the road and arrange an accident, so for drivers and cyclists it is also preferable when a person in the city leads a pet on a leash. The dog does not like this accessory, because it fetters freedom of movement, freedom of action. Dogs are mobile creatures, a slow walk at the pace of a person often does not satisfy their need for movement. The problem is that in cities there are few places for walking where the dog could run around. But the leash guarantees the safety of the dog itself: it will not jump out onto the roadway, will not run away after another dog, will not get lost. The owner wants the dog to be able to run around a lot, so he often takes it off the leash where this is not allowed. Plus, some dogs pull and pull on the leash on a walk - their hands get tired. But this can be fixed with training. And so that the dog can run more freely, there is a tape measure leash with a long cable / tape. Dog cleaning bags No one wants to see a bunch of dogs on lawns, sidewalks and under their balcony. There are no comments here. The dog doesn't care at all. And cleaning is not her concern. Unfortunately, not all owners clean up after their dogs. Some are lazy, some are disgusted, some simply do not think about the need to do this. But it needs to be done. I mean the city, not walking somewhere outside the city limits, in the wild forests. "Are you saying there is a law requiring a gentleman to pick up dog poop?!" Images from the film "Kate and Leo" (2001). Luminous collars At night, there is a danger of stepping on a puppy or a small dog that accidentally ends up underfoot on the sidewalk. A luminous collar will warn passers-by to put their feet carefully. No one wants to stumble over a fragile dog. Some dogs do not like such accessories (what is it that glows on me?!), but mostly they quickly get used to them. For the owner, this is an additional expense, but it is still a useful accessory in the conditions of evening city walks: passers-by can see the dog - it’s safer for her, and the dog itself is easier to find if, for example, it gets lost in the bushes (it happens with old ones). For large runaway dogs, this accessory is also useful.
